This recruitment will be for male candidates only, female candidates will not be able to participate in it. This sparkling opportunity for 12th passed candidates to join the Indian Navy, which is given by Indian Navy every year.
In the year of 2019-20, there were 2700 total vacancies and out of these, there were 2200 for Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) and 500 for Artificer Apprentice (AA). How many posts will come out of this year, it will be clear only after the official notification comes.

Indian Navy SSR, AA jobs 2021 Eligibility Criteria
1. Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR)
Educational Qualification – Qualified in 10+2 Examination with Mathematics and Physics and at least one of these subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognized by MHRD, Govt. of India.
2. Artificer Apprentice (AA)
Artificer Apprentice (AA): Qualified in 10+2 Examination 60% Marks or or more marks in aggregate with Mathematics & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognized by MHRD, Govt. of India.

Indian Navy SSR, AA Posts Selection Criteria
- Written Exam (CBT)
- Physical Test
- Medical Exam
Selection of recruits is based on the all India order of merit on their performance in Written Examination, subject to qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in Medical Examination.
One Common Computer Based Examination will be conducted for AA and SSR entries.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, an exception is being made in the public interest wherein approximately 10000 candidates will be called up for written test and physical fitness test (PFT). The shortlisting of the candidates for written examination and PFT will be undertaken on the basis of percentage of qualifying examination (10+2 Examination).

Physical Standards for Indian Navy SSR, AA Posts
- Minimum Height – 157 CMs
- Weight and Chest should be proportionate

Medical Standards for Indian Navy SSR AA Posts
Medical examination will be conducted by authorized military doctors as per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable to Sailors on entry.

- Fill up the Form completely. Before clicking the ‘Submit’ button make sure all the details are correct, all required documents are scanned in original & uploaded.
