J&K (DDE) Distance Education (*B.Ed) Online Admission Notification 2019-21: Jammu University and Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for admission to the B.Ed. programme through distance mode for the academic session 2019-21. The application forms will be available on the official website www.distanceeducationju.infrom 25 July 2019 along with the important instructions.
1. The candidates who have passed Bachelors’ Degree Examination (10+2+3) with 45% aggregate marks for General Category and 40% marks for the reserved categories of SC/ST/ and others (As per the rules of the State Govt./Reservation policy of the University of Jammu) in the faculty of Arts, Social Sciences, Commerce or the faculty of Music and Fine Arts conducted by the University of Jammu or an examination from any other university organized as equivalent thereto. It needs to be mentioned that all those in service teachers who shall be deputed by the school education department shall be exempted from the %age criteria in the qualifying examination. They shall be deputed by their parent department on the basis of the seniority determined by the School Education Department.
2. Candidates who are serving as full time teachers in recognized schools (Primary, Elementary, Secondary, Higher Secondary levels) within the territorial jurisdiction of the University of Jammu.
3. Who have minimum of two years teaching experience either at a stretch or in parts at the time of submission of the application form for admission.
4. First preference will be given to the candidates who have completed diploma in education/Diploma in Elementary Education/who are trained in service teachers in elementary education.

Applicants are advised to fill the application form carefully with valid details and take a print out of application form for the personal record and for further use for the counseling-cum-admission. After filling the application form successfully candidate needs to make the payments of application fee online only.
